Not sure what to say?

I knew Nick when he was a little guy and I was married to someone who worked with Debbie and Casey at Alert Ambulance. I'm shocked and so very very sorry for your loss. I remember he was quite a wonderful little boy and it appears as though he grew into a wonderful man. My thoughts are with you.

Casey,
I am so sorry. I just ran across this obituary while researching Shifflets. I am your cousin Cheryl your Aunt Genevieve's daughter. My heart goes out to you. God Bless

The celebration of Nick's life was amazing. We are blessed for having known Nick and thank you for sharing Nick with us.
Our thoughts, prayers and love are extended to Nicks entire family.
Love,

Debi, Casey, and Family..
My prayers are with you.
Nick will always be with you. He is standing with you now and proud of his family as you are so proud of him.

We are thinking of your family in your terrible loss but remember Nick is no longer fighting this HORRIBLE disease. His legacy will LIVESTRONG

I count it a privilege to have walked along side Nick as he fought the good fight. When I went to visit him, I always left feeling better than when I arrived. He always lifted my spirits. Nick continued to plan his future, never giving into the thought that it might not be there. Nick’s life was a life well lived! He taught me much and will always live in our hearts!

My Sweet Boy, There is a great empty hole in my heart that can never be filled. I miss you so much and can scarcely think of anything but you. I'm so proud of you for many things but mostly for the fight you put up against this hideous thief. I am still blown away by your strength especially in the last 4 days of your battle. I only pray that God gives me even a fraction of your streangth to continue without you. Thank you Nick for being a great son I love always, Dad

The world has lost a generous person that will continue giving through those lives he has touched.

Your family has shown such amazing strength during this time... Nick touched so many lives. I will continue to remember you all in my prayers... for peace and comfort.
