Not sure what to say?

I remember Dr. Stahl as a very serious, but loving father with high standards for his sons, whom I played with regularly, especially John when we all lived in the Bradford Heights on the outskirts of Syracuse. Those were some good times for sure!

I never had the opportunity to meet Dr. Stahl, but have come to know and love him through the shared memories of his sons. I honor his life and legacy in the continued affection I have for the Stahl family. May he be at peace knowing that his tenure on Earth touched the lives of many.

A month later, I still feel the loss. His daughter-in-law Jeanie and grandsons Jacob and Jeffrey miss him as well. There is comfort in knowing that the last difficult phase of life is over for my father, for whom I will always feel great respect, love and appreciation.

Dear Mrs. Stahl,

My condolences to you and your family. I will always remember the way my father and mother spoke of Dr. Stahl and you - with much deserved admiration and respect. I will also always remember that both you and Dr. Stahl never talked 'down' to us when we were young. God Bless you. Nancie

On May 18th, 1969, my son was born 2 1/2 months early, weighing in at less than 3lbs., with, as we were told, little or no chance for survival. But because of the deep caring, knowledge and fight of two very special Dr.s, we were able to bring him home nearly three months later. Today he is a happy, healthy wonderful son, husband and father who faithfully serves our country. I have always been and will be forever grateful to Dr. Nicholas Stahl and his partner, Dr. Gianfranco Fritelli. Please...

Our sincere sympathy to the Stahl family in the loss of a fine man, and a wonderful, caring surgeon. Our son was a patient in the early 1970's for about 7 years, and was very fond of Dr. Stahl, and then Dr. Ratner. He is now a young healthy man himself, and the father of two children. This is due much in part to the very expertise care of a great "team" of physicians. Our prayers are with you all.
The Klink Family

To the Stahl Family,
We are sadden by the news and are thinking of you during this time of loss. Dr. Stahl was a very special person to us and a wonderful friend to the Bastable family. He will be missed. Susan

Joyce and all Stahls,

Our deepest sympathy and well wishes are sent your way in memory of your dear husband, father, neighbor and friend whom we all knew and loved. His care and service to others in need will remain his lasting legacy. With joy for his grand life...with thanks and sympathy.....

The Bastables-- Gerry, Leigh, Garrett, Susan, and Jeff

Dear Mrs. Stahl
We were surprised and saddened to read Dr Nick Stahl's obituary in today's paper. We've known each other since the 1960's and he was always the perfect gentleman. His subtle sense of humor will always be remembered and we know that you'll miss him dearly. Marcia and I will for him and you as well in this time of sorrow.
