Not sure what to say?

Thank you for co-founding the Mercer County Senior Babe Ruth League. It gave me three extra years to play baseball, in 1969, 70 and 71. I played on the Hamilton VFW team. Thank you for your service in the United States Marine Corps.

We are so very saddened to hear this news. Nick was our neighbor for 15 years and he was the best neighbor ever! One day when y 2 year olds on locked me out of the house,Nick came , took the window air conditioner out and had his son climb in and unlock the door. Another time, after I drove the nose of our corvette into the side of the house, Nick got wood putty, patched the hole and painted it, all before my husband got home from work. I would have been in big trouble!! ashen I think of Nick...

Nick was always a part of Ewing sports and Love him dearly! Xoxo Grew up in Ewing being a batboy first when he was playing with my brother Lou, which Graduated in 62 with Nick from Ewing also. When our boys where in Little league we coached together and then umpire with Nick many years. Always fun to be around and a lot of laughs. Will miss him and always have him in my heart. Love you Nick... RIP

I knew Chief Tackacs responding to TPH with the TFD. Quite an accomplished life, the things you learn from an obituary. My thoughts and prayers to the family. R.I.P my friend.

To the Tackacs Family, I had the pleasure of coaching with Nick for almost a decade. With Nick's help and guidance we built the Notre Dame High School program into one of the finest in the state. His legacy will be remembered by many for years to come. To Kathleen, Stephan, and Gus, they broke the mold when Nick was born. He can't be replaced but will always be remembered. Sincerely, Chappy Moore

Sincere condolences to the Tackacs family Nick was a great guy and a Brother Marine We also played on the same field football and Vietnam ! God Bless RIP
