Not sure what to say?

Hello. My names Raygan and am 1 of 3 grand children mentioned here. I never got to meet him either...

Was just browsing the web when through some circuitous route that I can´t reconstruct I ran across nick´s obituary. Way too young for him to pass but then to me, he´ll always be that 21 year old guy with the Bobbie Gentry show. My hat is forever off to you Nick. More joie de vivre than I ever thought possible for a human to have. Goodbye and good luck in your next stop.

Your smile, your sweet spirit and your enormous talent will always be missed by those of us who had the privilege to know you.
Fly high, Nick!
I am attaching a photo of Nick and Paul, along with the rest of Lee Greenwood's band. This was taken in Nashville in June 1984.

Never forgotten! ❤

My grandfather is Nick Uhrig, I am one of the survived 3 grandchildren written in the obituary. Unfortunately I never got the opportunity to meet him. I would love to hear your memories and stories of him/with him. RIP Grandpa Uhrig. Email me at [email protected] if you would like to send any photos, memories or anything you have in his memory! Thank you.

I first met him at FSU in 1969 and have met few others with his talent of giving. I'll never forget how bright his light shone and how everyone who knew him were blessed It's amazing to find out that Dr and Mrs Uhrig made me feel as special as they did others. This is a trait they passed on to Nick. Thanks for the...
