Plant a Tree & Name a Star

Nick was my gym teacher at Wilton Jr. High and then I got to know him well when I was a reporter for the Wilton Bulletin when he coached football and track and went on to be AD at the Wilton High School. He was a big factor in my career as a reporter because he was the first interview I ever did. It's hard to believe he's gone. I'll miss him.

Mr. Zeoli was a lovely man who is fondly remembered after more than sixty years. Wilton High School, Class of `62

Nick was a leader in Connecticut athletics and on the National level. He will be missed by all.

So sorry for his family, I´m sure they will miss him greatly. I´m also sure Paul Lane was 1 of the 1st to greet him with a big smile and a sports related joke on the other side ;-) I wasn´t an athlete but Mr zeoli was so kind to my grandparents when they came to pick me up from school & meet with my teachers, I´ll never forget how he turned what could have been awkward for my NYC grandparents into a meeting they enjoyed and looked forward to more of when they visited wilton on a school...

My prayers go out to Joanne and the rest of the family. Mr. Z was my PE teacher when I moved to Wilton in 5th grade and throughout the rest of my school years in Wilton. He was my high school track coach for the 4 years that I was on the team. He was also at the 20th anniversary reunion for our class of 1963. He was an inspiration to me and to so many other students. We traded emails, Christmas cards, and phone calls over the past couple of years. He will be sorely missed! R.I.P. coach!

Our thoughts and prayers to Nick's family and friends. We are deeply appreciative of Nick's contributions to the FCIAC, helping to make it the best conference in the state!

To the Zeoli Family, We are sorry to hear of the passing of Nick Zeoli, I had the pleasure of knowing Nick for over 50 years with the CHSCA. He was a terrific teacher, coach, leader, innovator and friend to so many in our organization, So many memories through the years, His smile and willingness to always help others will always be remembered.. Our prayers are with you in the days ahead. Sincerely, Jiggs Cecchini

When waking up several mornings ago, Nick Zeoli´s name came to mind and it left me wondering how he was doing! My husband, Bill and I always held him in the highest regard. Our six children graduated from Wilton High School, all of them having been athletes of one sort or another. His unsurpassed enthusiasm, honesty, student support and fairness, was evident at all events. We hope his wonderful DNA was passed down, to all his children and grandchildren, and that the thousands of Wilton High...
