Not sure what to say?

Was just telling a story about you and Nick and your Valentine projects of found objects and creativity. The world is just a little less bright. Sending you a smile. Dawn Alexander Cedar Key Florida

Sending good thoughts and prayer to all your family. I am so thankful to have known Nick as a friend and teacher. He will be missed.

Sue, I´m so sorry to hear this sad news and I´m sure you´re heartbroken. I remember what a wonderful painting and drawing teacher Nick was at UNM. He influenced my life greatly through that. I am happy I became friends with you and Nick and shared those wonderful dinners in your home over the years. Two of Nick´s prints have been hanging in my house for over 38 years since given to Ed and I. My sincere condolences to you and your family.

Susan, I was so sorry to hear of Nick's passing. He was one of the few artists whose humility and gentle nature were only outshone by his talent. While I haven't seen him often in the last few years, I shall always remember him with fondness. My thoughts are with you at this sad time. Ellen Landis

I met Mr. Abdalla at UNM back in 1978. I took some drawing classes from him, which helped shape me as an artist. He was a gentle man, and I remember he had a kind demeanor towards his students. I didn't keep up with him, although I should have, but I definitely remember his professionalism, talent and teaching ability...which inspired me greatly. He will be missed. My sincerest condolences to his family.

Nick was one of the best teachers I've ever had and I blossomed under his tutelage. I'm glad he had a good life and I'm sorry he has left this existence.

Dear Susan, I share my condolences on Nicks passing. You both are wonderful neighbors' and a joy to be around. When I retired from UNM and during my walk I talked to Nick in front of your house and told him I joined the retiree ranks. Nick, with a big, smile, remarked, "Well, good now everyday is Saturday." He will be greatly missed
