Not sure what to say?

Dear Donna and Diane, you may or may not remember me. I was the one of the little kids next door and your neighbor from 1960 - 1965. My mom and dad were Tom & Jeanne Jones. Both my parents have also passed on. I have so many wonderful memories of your parents and the both of you. I especially remember your senior proms and how beautiful the two of you were. I remember the fun times your Dad and your mother gave to all of us who just lived next door. I remember when your Dad taught my...

Donna and Diane - my thoughts & prayers are with you during this very sad time. I will always remember your parents as being soooo cool! They were very nice to me as a child & I was in awe of their charming personalities. They will never be forgotten.

Victor - My deepest sympathies to you in the passing of your uncle. I'm sure that you will miss him beyond what words can express.

Donna and Diane- we were so sad to hear about your mom and then your dad- we will miss them both very much! We have such great memories of the days when we got to see Uncle Nick sing and play (our wedding comes to mind)! We send you our heartfelt sympathies and wish we could be there with you tomorrow. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I don't know where to begin or end. Both Nickie and Elaine were not only my Godparents (which I am very honored)but also the best people around. With their love for life and generosity. My mom passed away 3 1/2 yrs ago and Elaine said she would be my mom....always there if you needed anything. Nickie always called anyone he met the most beautiful person in the world. Nickie would come to open houses at my house and always gave us a song from his heart. What a wonderful loving, person,...

We knew Nick and Elaine through Hazel (Elaine's mother) and Dan Miller (her stepfather), our neighbors of many years in Wauwatosa. When we were kids, Nick took a bunch of the neighborhood kids to a television show studio, and we got to meet Pops, the star of the children's show. (I can't recall the name of the TV show.) That was really exciting for us. We also had the opportunity to hear Nick sing a number of times, and always enjoyed his performances.
Our family is very sorry to hear of...

I was very fortunate to grow up next door to Nick in Elm Grove and have always remembered him fondly and with warm memories. I know my dad in particular felt very close to him and enjoyed sitting on the porch of our home with guitars in hand. He will be missed.

My uncle and aunt, Nick and Elaine, were the best! I have so many great memories of them, my other uncles and aunts, my folks, family and friends singing and joking at those wonderful family occasions. We kids would sit in awe, it was like attending a great live performance where you're actually related to all the performers... pretty heady stuff!

They will be missed. Going back to Milwaukee and knowing they're no longer there; it won't be the same.

I was the lucky person to get assigned to Nick through WFHH&H and my time there was filled with great people, smiles, warmth, food, and love! Donna, Diane, and the entire family, as hard as it was to let go of Elaine and the quick departure of Nick. It was so evident that these two belong together not only on earth but also in heaven! Nick and Elaine will forever be the true love story that I share with my family and friends! This is the fairy tale ending of happily ever after!!!!
