Thanks for the books and memories. Mikey

Dear Gina, we have just known that Nick passed away. We want to remember him with this photo took in Alice Castello in 2003 where we were all together. Our hearts go out to you in your time of sorrow. God bless you, Nick!

Nick & Bill

I am so sorry to hear of Nick's passing. He and my father were great friends and colleagues throughout many years of my life. I remember Nick as a wonderful writer and ethical newspaperman and just a good guy. I am sure my dad has been waiting for Nick so they could hash over another good story. God's speed, Nick.

AUNTie Gina, something just told me to look uncle nick up online and I saw about his passing.. I am so sorry to hear this. No matter what we were family and the loss of a family member is still painful. It hurt me to hear this as he was an amazing man and loved by us all.
I am so sorry for his loss and you know he is watching over you as you did for him.

Sue and family

Nick was a mentor, friend and a journalist with the utmost integrity. My fondest memory is when he allowed me to cover his beat for the Chico E-R while he was away on one of his adventures. Such trust in a young journalist! God less you, nick! Can't wait to meet up with you in he beyond!

. . . the heartwarming and gentle wisdom that is Nick's . . .
