Not sure what to say?

To the entire Gitts family: We share your great loss and rejoice in Nick's memory. Nick singlehandedly raised the quality and prominence of dahlia growing (along with Marge). Moreover, he headed a lively clan of engaged, productive, and family-oriented citizens for whom Canby and the world should be grateful. His keen insights and deep knowledge about dahlias always will be appreciated by me, who was only capable of sharing a slice of lemon pie.

To The Beloved Gitts Family:
Just to know how it pains me of Nicks loss, knowing that he was so very loved by all, including my boys, who thought the world of their grandpa, and myself for being who he was.... but he has a wonderful legacy to carry on in his absence. Also, to let you all know you are in my thoughts and mean so very much today, and always. I know I am far away, but not too far away that, I am still able to be reached via phone and email.

All My Love Always,
Cyndi...

What a pleasure it was to meet Nick, Victoria and Margret at NWC
specialist. Nick and my Father shared many a story of Alaska, fishing, and hunting, the adventure never ended. Their stories now will be of family and eternal peace. Bless your family.

Marge, I am shocked and heartbroken to hear that "Uncle Nick" is gone. I will always remember how I looked forward to coming down to visit with my parents and how much fun we had there. I will never forget Uncle Nick's kindness and compassion. My deepest sympathy to you and Nancy, Nick jr, Vicki, Ted and Gary.

Dear Margaret and Family
You have always been a special part of our family memories and one of my earliest memories was a trip to Yellowstone as just a little tyke,I remember Nick feeding the bears my graham crackers. Later years brought us to Canby to visit you at the Dahlia farm, he was always special to Dad and Mom.
Know that we are thinking of all of you and please keep in touch.
Love Sharon (Iverson) Trull
