Dr. Nick V. Musso Jr., passed away January 23, 2014, at the family home in Florala, Alabama. Nick was born June 23,1943 in Birmingham, Alabama to Nick and Josephine Musso. He attended Trussville High School in Trussville, Alabama graduating in 1961. He entered the Air Force and was stationed at Eglin AFB at Fort Walton Beach.He pursued his college education receiving his BS at Eastern Kentucky University and was accepted at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry where he received his D.M.D. in 1974. Nick practiced Dentistry until he retired in 2008, at which time he and his wife Mona moved to Florala, Alabama.

Nick was proceeded in death by his parents, Nick and Josephine Musso; brother, Ross Musso and father-in-law, B.B. Sadler Jr.

He leaves behind his wife of 47 years, Mona Sadler Musso, daughters, Nicole Musso of Springville, Alabama, Lisa
Musso Lowe and husband Jeremy of Andalusia, Alabama, grandchildren, Lindsey, Joseph, Paige, Hallie and Drew. Step grandchildren, Kaycee, Jackson,Cody and Shalie. Brothers, Vincent Musso and wife, Elizabeth, Joe Musso and wife Jean, sister, Mary Jean Musso Romano and husband Jerry, many nieces and nephews. Mother-in-law Grace Adams Pritchard of Shalimar Florida,formerly of Florala.

Nicks interest were many and he was always up for something new-from bungi jumping to a good game of cards, but times up a tree or on a lake and time spent with family were at the top of his list.

Memorial service 11AM Friday, January 31,2014 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 980 Huffman Road, Birmingham, AL 35215. Visitation from 10AM until Mass at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Christ the King Catholic Church, 508 Sanford Road in Andalusia, Alabama 36420.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you!!! Nick was a special man, I enjoyed working with him when he practiced in Chickasha, Ok. Hold tight to the great memories you all have, that will help comfort you in your time of loss. I pray for God to wrap his arms around each and everyone of you and give you comfort.
