Mi sincere condolences. My father was Humberto Valdes Navarro. He always said Nick Navarro was his cousin. My father was born into the Navarro de la Portilla family in Jaruco, Havana, Cuba. He appeared to be a strong, "take charge, no nonsense" kind of guy but with a softer side that appealed to many. He will be missed in our community. May God bless him.
