Not sure what to say?

I had the opportunity to meet Nick Reda at the Berean Cafe, where him and his wife ministered to dozens of people from Clifford Avenue. Nick never backed down from his convictions, he was a solid man. He always challenged me to think, and questioned my logic. I'm glad I had the opportunity to meet him and Connie. I'm sure he's at home with Christ.

Dear Connie, Matt,Theresa, and Family,

I thank the Lord for Nick and the beautiful way he shared his life with us. What a joy it will be to see him again in Heaven! In the meantime I cherish his person and the wonderful memories that I carry of him. Blessings to all the family.

I know how much I miss my Uncle Nick and I didnt even get to spend much time with him, living in Baltimore, so I can only imagine what my cousins and Aunt Connie are feeling. I remember most about my Uncle Nick how he had this funny way of calling me Joey, and how, even though I was young and didnt quite understand everything he was saying, he would tell me about God and the Christian faith, I know how much he cared for his religion and I think I've grown to understand some of what he told me...

Nick Reda was the co-host of The Music Show and was "Uncle Nick" in his guitar teaching segment called "Uncle Nick's Corner" from Feb. 2006-Jan. 2012.

Dear Connie and Family,
Nick Reda was my friend, my working partner, my co-host, my wise and comforting brother in Christ. Over 8 years together. In those 8 years I felt: Loved, protected, secure and happy when he was around me. He was a true disciple of God. He loved the Lord so much. He wasn't afraid to talk to anyone about Jesus Christ, including every student he had. He talked of God in a way that would challenge your thought, but never you personally. He showed he loved you in...

Nick and Connie cared for my son Nathan from when he was only 9 wks. old until he was 12. I can't imagine him spending those years with anyone other than these two wonderful people. I can still hear him singing this song that Nick taught him. Hi-ho, hi-ho it's off to school we go. We learn some junk and than we flunk, hi-ho, hi-ho.

I was a student of Nick's for almost 8 years now and ive known him since i was 9. He taught me everything I know on the guitar and he taught me about life! He impacted my life in so many ways! He cared about his family with a tremendous amount of love and I know this because he always talked about you with a smile on his face. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and I can promise you he was one of the most inspiring people in my life! Never will I stop playing music just for him!...

We were shocked and deeply saddened to hear of the loss of our dear friend in the Lord and awesome banjo teacher, Nick. I will miss you so very dearly brother Nick and am confident you are playing in the most amazing Praise Band imaginable at this very moment! Until we all meet again we will be missing you. God Bless your family and grant them peace and comfort in their time of sorrow and loss. Love Kelli, Ed, Kate and Sarah Swingly

I truly can't find the words to express how empty my heart is knowing that I won't get to see my Uncle Nick on this earth. I do look forward to seeing him again in heaven. My thoughts, prayers and love are with my family at this time -- just sorry I am unable to be there with you. I love you all!

To Connie and family - Please accept our condolences at this unexpected and all too sudden loss. Working with Nick on The Music Show was always so much fun. We'll always remember his talents and his friendship.
