Not sure what to say?

i knew nick from camp JCA barton flats .he was 3 years older than me. but to me he was the big brother i never had. so sad to learn all these years later that he has passed away. my best to all his family and dear friends

I was so sorry to hear about Nick's passing. We both worked at the UCLA Tissue typing lab in 1980/81. I introduced him to Johnson and Boswell. He always made me laugh! My sincere condolences to Nick's family. Wendy Fenton (nee Zumbrunnen), Cheltenham, UK

I am very sad to hear of Nick's passing. I worked with Nick at Merisel for several years. Though we only saw each other a few times after the Merisel years, Nick would periodically call me out of the blue just to tell me about an episode of Cops he'd seen the night before. Nick was truly a unique individual. He will be missed. My thoughts are with Jeanette and Nick's family at this difficult time.

Good bye Nick.Had a great ride. See you on the other side.

I send all of my warmest sympathies to Nick's family and loved ones. Everyone worked so hard, including Nick, to help him through his brave battle with pancreatic cancer. May he rest in peace.

Nick was a good soul. Kind to us, friends and a dog lover. My heart goes out to his famiy, Jeanette, Jay, Anna, Diana and to all his friends. He will live in our hearts. "Never the spirit was born; the spirit shall cease to be never."

I am very saddened by the news of Nick's transition. Though I only met Nick a few times, I have known Jeanette since the 70's. He was an interesting conversationalist, and kind and helpful to others, including me. I wish peace in his transition process and peace for Jeanette and all who loved him as they mourn the immense gap he leaves in their lives, and hearts.

Nick Statman was a groover from the get go, and always had a good word to say. There weren't nearly enough like him, and best wishes to his family.
