DAUNT, Nicole A. - Of Flint, age 28, died Monday, November 12,2007 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11AM Friday, November 16, 2007 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 609 East Fifth Avenue in Flint, Father Phil Gallagher and Reverend Monsignor Richard J. Groshek con-celebrating. Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to the Michigan Special Olympics or for Breast Cancer Research. Visitation 5-8PM Wednesday, 12-4 and 5-8PM Thursday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. A Scripture Service will be held at 7PM Thursday at the funeral home. Nicole will be at the church from 10AM Friday until the time of the Mass. Nicole was born in Flint, Michigan on July 26, 1979. She graduated from Flint Powers High School in 1997. She ran in Cross Country and Track at Powers. In her youth, she played Ice Hockey and was an avid Red Wings fan. Surviving are parents, Jeanne and Robert Daunt of Flint; sister, Courtney of Flint; brothers, Tony Daunt of New Hudson and fiancee' Amy Taylor, Joseph Daunt and wife Karen Kennedy of Oregon, Timothy and wife Leah Davis-Daunt of Oak Park, Michigan, Matthew and wife Laurie Daunt of Davison; nephew, Devin Daunt of Flint; nieces, Timothie Daunt of Mt. Pleasant and Madeline Daunt of Davison; nephews Luke and Charlie Daunt of Davison; many aunts, uncles, cousins and her extended family at Scooters. I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Nicole from Scooters also. I have been in there twice since her passing and you could feel the energy of Nicole's presence there. She will never be forgotten and she will have a special place in all of our hearts.
