I never met Nicole. I don't know her. I don't know anyone in her family. I don't think we have any mutual friends in common. I came across this obituary + my heart goes out to those facing her loss. With much love + human empathy I write hoping you can overcome the pain + celebrate her life + legacy. I'm so sorry. What an interesting person she was.

I met Nicole in Siena,Italy in Spring 2017, who coincidentally was there on holiday, while traveling with her aunt Nancy Ahl. It was a memorable good time. Nicole was delightfully smart, adventurous and fun loving. My sincerest condolences to the Ahl and Durbin family.
