Dear Nicole´s family. Nicole and I were best friends in grammar school at McDonogh 15 before she transferred to McGhee. Our paths parted. She was a sweet, kind, fun child, a genuine friend, special. We studied French in fourth grade after school for fourth-eighth graders; she won first place, I came in second. We recited poems at awards ceremony one night and enjoyed great reception.
