Not sure what to say?

Just thinking of Nicole today, as I do quite often. She was my first friend in New York when I joined her team at Barclays. Eight years later, she is still the best person I met in this city. She was truly extraordinary. I hope her family finds some comfort knowing that while her time was all too short, it was immeasurably impactful.

The Korczykowski's are my neighbors and it hurt knowing someone loved that my family knew and was close to died in such a horrible accident. Nicole was a great person and as I can remember, loved animals and loved to live life to the fullest. I miss you Nicole.

Wow. I just learned of Nicole's death today, just over 2 years after the fact. I was wondering why she hadn't contacted me in a long time and decided to try to find her.

I hired her as an intern at Mellon Ventures while she was in undergrad at Penn. She was an incredibly smart and gifted person. I have hired many Ivy League grads and other very talented people, but she was truly special even in that crowd. I often told people that she was the smartest person that I had ever met....

Maureen, Larry and Ryan,
Very often I think back to the times we all spent at Brant Lake together. I have incredibly fond memories of Nicole as a child, and what a beautiful woman you raised her to be. She touched all of us, and she will always live in our memories. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

During this time of year, I always consider what I am thankful for. I am deeply thankful for having known and worked with Nicole. It was for all too short of a time, but she had and continues to have a profound impact on me.

I worked and played with Nicole while she was attending Penn and living here. She loved life, dancing salsa, playing piano, speaking more languages than any one I know and much more. She was a truly happy person, approachable to people from all walks of life adding a spark to all of our lives.

It is a sad day for me, but I am glad I met her.

My condolences to all her friends and family

Dear Korczykowskis,
I spent the better part of three years trying to get Nicole to come work with me and my team (though unsuccessfully). We've never pursued a single candidate so persistently. She was a star. Brilliant, outgoing, interesting, and always a great pleasure to be with. I miss her bright light.

Dear Korczykowskis,

My heart is deeply saddened by the loss of Nicole. I can remember her in childhood giving Scooby Doo impressions. She was very creative! I love Nicole and she will be greatly missed by everyone.
