Not sure what to say?

I just found this page today... though I was told by your sister that God brought you Home... I Love You So Much... You Were Always There For Me No Matter What... You Taught Me So Much... I Will Forever Remember You For Your Kindness And Your Graciousness. I Love You So Much. You Were Always My Angel From God And He Gained A Beautiful, Loving Angel That Day You Left Earth.

Niki saved me as a child....

without her I wouldn't be here.

Yup... that's the truth.

She taught me to love

and she loved me.

I was in the first class she ever taught when I was 12 years old.

A true mentor...

always giving sacrificially -

drove me to church for 5 years straight....

flew to Chicago for my college graduation,

flew to California for my Ph.D. graduation...

My dear Nik, precious friend since sixth grade ...words can’t t express the profound effect you had on my life...through high school, college years, sharing an apartment in NY, maid of honor in my wedding. You taught me how to be a better person... to be more caring, more helpful, more kind ...to laugh and share a beautiful friendship. I believe you lived a wonderful life because you willingly and joyfully gave of yourself. You lived your faith and brought me closer to our God.
I’ll...

There are no words to express how sad I feel when I heard she passed away. Nicole was more than a friend, a great human being. I am honored and blessed to know you. I will miss you a lot. You will be always in my heart.

The first time I met Nicole was my first day at Tottenville High School. I had transferred from Brooklyn and was quite nervous and disoriented. The building was so large, the people all strangers. Nicole stayed an hour after the day ended to walk me through the building, floor to floor, department to department, in order to help me find my way. And the next day, she took me to lunch. Wouldn't let me pay. And here I was a total stranger! And from those two moments in time, she e exhibited...

Niki grew up on Greely Avenue and my friend Carol Locher and I lived a block away. We all played together as children. I was especially fond of Niki's mom, Ann, who was the sweetest person as was her daughter.
I will always have fond memories of our childhood.

Niki was the quintessential friend...she was always ready with friendship no matter how long it was between calls or visits...she did everything beautifully and wholeheartedly...she was the epitome of kindness...she set such a good example of how to live out God's love on earth...her smile, her wisdom, and her warm sense of humor will be greatly missed...we will love you always...❤

My Dear Niki, when you moved back to New York I was heart broken. But it was all okay because I could call you, text you and visit you. Now that you’re in heaven, it’s a lot harder for me to reach you. We miss you deeply. You have always been a very loving, caring, generous, thoughtful and wonderful human being. I have been so blessed and honored to know you. You will always be in my heart.

Nicole was a wonderful person. She was a true saint. I taught in the English Department with her. Never was there a finer, more compassionate person and teacher. A true gem. I didn’t know that she was ill. Saw her a few times after retirement. She loved to sing.
She will be missed by our community.
