I just wanted to let you know that I love you both very much. Nicole truely was an amazing girl, and as you both expressed to me she will be looking over us always. There are no words to express my sorrow at this horrible loss -- I remember what a wonderful and special child she was, and I'm sorry not to have gotten to see her as a young adult. Michele, I only wish I had any way to help you as you helped me through a difficult time. My love and prayers are with you.

Dear Bret and Michele,
It is with extremely heavy hearts that we write this message to you. Words can't express the shock and sympathy that we feel for you over the loss of Nicole. Even with the experience of the sudden loss of my father I still don't understand why things like this happen especially to the young and to you who have been through so much.
