Nicolette Beverly "Nicki" Leach

Nicki: you are a beautiful girl, an inspiration, you were brought to earth to teach everyone you met to love others and to show strength in pain and suffering, everyone that you touched has been blessed.

Jesse has been my wonderful, bright, student at UNF, so I've heard about Nicki for the past two years. Jesse's love for, and devotion to, his sister are remarkable, and I am so sorry to hear of her death. My thoughts are with you, Jesse, and with your family.

My first memory of Nicki was when she and my little sister were re-enacting a Shakespeare play for a school project, and I was videotaping. I think they were maybe in the fifth grade or so. We knew then that she was such a talented girl, and I was so proud of her when she became a D.A. girl like I did. Nicki was so strong and beautiful. My love to her family.

Nicki was my cousin and i love her, and will miss her so much, i wish we could have spent more time together, but i do have great memories of her and the time when we all played "imagin if" the last time we went for a visit. And i will never forget that or her, ill always remember her bright smile.

We didn't know Nicki, but Leigh, Bobette, Brittany, and Brooke spoke of her often and told us what a lovely young lady she was and how the two families enjoyed getting together. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

When I was a senior, Nicki was a freshman in my stage movement class. She was so beautiful and talented. Now, as a teacher at DA, I see what an an impression she has left on the theatre department and the school as a whole. Her perserverence is remarkably inspirational, and I know she is looking upon those who loved her. She left far too early in life, but I'm sure she is gracing God with her beautiful voice. Don't know if you remember me, Jesse, I remember you. You are all in my thoughts and...

Nicki was such a beautiful person on the inside and out. I remember telling her daily in school that she was so talented at everything she did. She made everyone around her always smile by her presence alone.

I will never forget our 2002 prom together... finding the perfect attire together, posing for photos at her house, at the Shorstein's house, at Alexis' house, inside the limo, outside the limo and at...

Nicki was a beautiful, sweet and kind person. I'll always remember her from workcrew and from "sharing" a prom date with her my senior year with gheorghe...I can't believe that I was so lucky to have known such a strong person. She and all of her family and friends are in my thoughts.
