Niels Lund

Cheryl, I'm so sorry about Niels passing. My heart goes out to you! Love you lots!

Dr. Lund was one of the first attendings that I worked with after transferring to the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Strong Memorial Hospital in January 1998. He was a pleasure to work with. He was approachable and he care deeply about his staff and patients. My deepest condolences to his family.

Neil Blumberg and Joanna Heal send their deepest condolences to Cheryl and Niels's family and friends. Neil and Niels were colleagues at the University of Rochester and enjoyed a warm and mutually supportive relationship. It was a privilege and a pleasure to call Niels friend.

Dr. Lund, I am so sorry for your loss. You were the epitome of a devoted wife; watching you two interact, although he was sick, was incredibly sweet and those are moments I pray you cherish and hope they bring you peace. It was an honor to have met Niels for the short time I did. Sending you and your loved ones (Chica and Wild Thing included!) lots of love from my family & furbabies to yours.
