Sime and I had the pleasure of touring Susak with Nikola and Kathy and seeing his beloved island through his warm eyes. His pride of his homeland shined on that long climb up the paths what must have been a difficult journey and maybe one of his last.
His funeral was a beautiful reminder of the warm Susak community in NJ. May his family continue to be blessed by their caring embrace.
I was glad to have met him. RIP "Mezo"
