Not sure what to say?

On this Valentine´s Day, I am honored to share a find memory of Niko which illustrates just how special he was. We have been neighbors to the Sierras for many years and watched both families( all boys) grow up together. Niko was 3 years older than our oldest son, Matthew. When Niko was a high school senior, Matthew was a freshman. On that first day of high school, Matthew was wondering the LHS hallways lost while looking for his first class. Niko spotted Matthew and asked if he needed any...

We send our sincere sympathies, thoughts and prayers to the Sierra family. We have been neighbors to the Sierra family for almost 20 years. Nico was a caring young man with a huge heart. I would like to share a story to illustrate this point. When our son, Matthew, was a freshman at LHS(Nico was a senior), he saw that Matthew was lost finding finding his way to class on his first day. He saw him and asked if he needed any help. Nico didn't just tell him where the classroom was, he walked him...

I had the pleasure of working closely with Niko for a few years. We grew to become friends. I will miss him and cherish the time we spent together. I´m very sad and sorry for the family. I wish you the deepest sympathy in this difficult time.

Im so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you Eddie and Veronica and family.

Eddie Sierra and family, so very sorry to have heard that your son has passed away. In past conversations I remember you speaking very proudly of Niko's football career in high school. It is quite evident that Niko was an incredibly gifted multi sport athlete as well as a wonderful young man. My sincere condolences. May your son rest peacefully. Kevin Wood

When I learned last December that my new next door neighbor was going to be a single man in his twenties I had some trepidation. Then I met Niko and my concerns were completely unfounded. He was bright, funny and kind. I'll never forget when he saw me struggling trying to shovel snow from my front sidewalk last winter. He told me to go back inside where it was warm and he finished the job for me. He repeated this kindness all through the winter and it was sincerely and deeply...

I´m so sorry for your loss . My son played with NIKO in Mass for arena football team . He was my son roommate, he called me MOM and treated me as much . Always with a smile on his face and laughter in his heart . Heaven gain a angel . He showed it ALL the time on and off the field . NIKO left an impression in my Heart and Soul FOREVER . Sorry if my words are all over the place IM FULL OF EMOTIONS .....

How sad to hear of Niko's death. He often waited on my late husband Michael and me at Center Square Grill and was always smiling. We "followed" his football career from his move out west to Maine, and even got his autograph one time, for when he got famous and in the NFL!! He was a sweet man and will be missed.
