Not sure what to say?

What a sweet, caring, vibrant woman she was! The world needs more people like her.

She was a wonderful, warm- hearted person, who loved life and her family, and was a true friend to all who knew her. She was a blessing from heaven. She will be missed so much, but she is not gone forever-merely away. Until we meet again, Nila, May you find peace in the arms of Jesus and your loved ones who have gone on before.

Words cannot express just how sad I feel over losing Nila, mother to my brother-in-law Scott and sister Kim. Nila was a very special person who welcomed me and my family into her's without hesitation, sharing her life with us. We were able to visit with Nila last August and, though she was in pain, was just as feisty yet loving as I've known her to be the past 30+ years. My one wish is that we could have had one more chance to share our lives with each other. Nila,...

Nila was a wonderful and caring person. I have been friends with Scott since we were in first grade and Nila was always so kind every time I went to visit Scott, making us meals, helping Scott and I stay out of too much mischief, and providing me with a smiling face and infectious laugh during the time I was visiting.
She will always have a special place in my heart. My sincere condolences to the entire Owen family. I am so sorry for your loss.

Aunt Nila was my before and after school caregiver after my mom went back to work. My mom, Reba Owen, was only 13 days older than Nila, they both married brothers, Worth Jiggs, and SD, my beloved Uncle Sam, and were as close as sisters. I loved Nila dearly, and will miss her.

I know you from you son Scott and daughter Kim and they share lots stories of you and your family. Youll be missed.

Dearest Nila,
I didn't know you well, but I do know that you were well loved.
You will be deeply missed

Im glad my Uncle Scott had Nilas companionship in his last years!

What a lovely tribute to Nila Owen Gosney. Thank you for the details about her early life. We were delighted when Uncle Scott and she got together, and happy they had seven adventure-filled years. She was a keen-minded, generous of spirit, peach of a person. When I last saw her in January, she was as engaged in the world as ever, following politics on CNN and sharing her opinions. She hated the isolation she had to endure during the Covid-19 lockdown months. She was the last of our parents...
