Not sure what to say?

I worked with Nils at Meier & Frank. He had the loudest and most boisterous laugh. We would go to dinner and meet to talk about retail, Portland neighborhoods, and all the happenings in the world. Quite the character, but always a good person.

I am so sorry to find out Nils is gone. I was friends with Nils our 1st year at OCE and we had many great times together. I found this while looking for him to reconnect, as I have with others from my past. I am so sad I am too late. Tammy (Watts) Mckinley

I just learned of Nils' passing while reading the most recent issue of St. Mary's Academy "Imprint" magazine. I had the wonderful opportunity of working alongside Nils when we were both involved in student leadership activities between CC and SMA. I am deeply sorry to hear of his passing. It looked like he led a very full life and was a blessing to many - I am not surprised - he was a gifted and giving young man when I knew him in high school. May the Lord comfort you in this loss.

I was more than concerned when I didn't get a call from Nils this fall for the Annual Appeal for Central Catholic. Now I know why. I truely miss our talks we had regarding Central Catholic.

My thoughts and prays go out to the Gonzales family. Nils will be missed.

Just like we use to end are conversations, GO RAMS! GOD BLESS.

I am very sorry to hear of Nils passing. I will always remember him as one of the smartest and the most loyal friends I have ever met. And although he always gave me a hard time for something-or-another, he was usually right.

One of my favorite things to do with Nils was to eat lunch at one of our local Asian restaurants. We would order family style, flirt with the waitress and hobnob with the owner. He loved his local businesses and he always impressed me with his knowledge of...

Nils took me on my first real "date" to see the movie Jaws years ago after we met through my cousin Mike King, they were friends at Central Catholic. I remember him as an absolutely lovely, kind, fun-loving person and I am so sorry for your family's loss.
