Not sure what to say?

I worked there in the 80s. Mr. Wong was most honorable man and all around sweet to his customers.

Ning Hoy was always so respectful of my mom when we went to The Rice Bowl for dinner. He'd always bring her a bag of almond cookies. He also spoke well about my father. "Handsome like movie star" he would say. Dates back to the friendship they had when we were in the dairy business.

I have memories of my grandparents hosting large family dinners with take-out food from the Rice Bowl...back in the late 50's & early 60's...delicious food. My sincere condolences.

Art, My condolences to you and your family.

Sincere sympathy to your family. I enjoyed many conversations with Ning Hoy when I would see him around town and years ago at the Lompoc Record.
