Noble was my demanding but always fair CEO for nearly 20 years. He was dedicated to his banking profession, clearly intelligent, but more importantly, wise and able to effectively transend the frequent pettiness of everyday business. I am indebted to him for the very positive impact he had on my banking career. A man to be missed. Condolences to the Carpenter family.
