Salyersville Funeral Home Obituary

Noble Hanson Risner, age 85, a resident of Rockhouse Fork in Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, September 1, 2012 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky Mr. Risner was born September 24, 1926 in Salyersville, Kentucky the son of the late Green and Madge Scott Risner. Also, proceeding in death is a sister, Gaynell Caudill. Mr. Risner served his country in the US Air Force until he was honorably discharged. After retiring from the US Arm Services he was employed as a laborer at Contential Conyers in Salyersville, Kentucky. Those left to mourn include: Daughter: Debra Risner of Salyersville, Kentucky Sisters: Joyce Kemplin of Dayton, Ohio Also surviving is a host of family members and friends. Funeral services for Noble H. Risner will be conducted Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home in Salyersville, Kentucky. Clergy Terry Lykins and James Collins will be delivering the comforting words at the service. Interment will follow the service in the Patrick and Lovely Cemetery on Johnson Fork in Salyersville, Kentucky. The family will welcome friends Monday, September 3 after 6:00 PM, Tuesday, September 4 from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and anytime prior to the funeral service. Military Rites will be given by the Magoffin County Chapter 15 DAV. The arrangements are under the direction of the Salyersville Funeral Home in Salyersville, Kentucky.
