Not sure what to say?

Marlene,
My heart goes out to you for your loss. I know that you know how truly blessed you are to have your Mom for the time that she was here...and that you will see her in heaven.

It is clear from the obituary that Nobu lived a full and rewarding life. I will cherish even more the litte trinkets you gave me that she made (bookmark and coasters). I love the photos, my favorite is Nobu as a child sitting on the rattan bench with those adoreable shoe-boots.

May...

Dear Teresa, Marlene, Carolyn, Sanford, Heather, and family,

What a beautiful obituary and slide show. It is just perfect. It brought tons of tears to my eyes and loved looking at her when she was so little and innocentg and then seeing her so flawless and happy later on in life. My mom always told us how auntie Nabby was the best sewer and how she knew how to make everything from aprons to bathing suits!! My mom told me about a very special skirt she made for her with apples...

Dear Marlene and Caroyn,

I loved reading your mom's obituary and that reminded me of one of my best memories of your mom. It was on a New Years day probably while we were still in high school, Marlene, and sushi was unknown to me and most of the United States I would guess. She invited me to your house for rolls wrapped in seaweed and rice and with fish in them. That was my first introduction I believe to sushi. I never had any after that until one day several years ago when I...

Dear Teresa and family ~ What an amazing woman and kind spirit your grandmother was. My deepest condolences go out to each of you during your time of grief. Keep your memories close at heart and know that she is smiling down on you!
Sincerely,
Jen Bernsdorf and family

Dear Marlene and family,
I remember you all from Greenmont Village and the Community Church. You have a beautiful family. I also remember meeting your Mom and Dad once when I took Marlene on a date. They were wonderful people. I am so sorry for the loss of your Mother.

My condolences and thoughts are with Carolyn, Marlene, Teresa and your family as you celebrate the life of Gram O...I hope you will be comforted with the many wonderful memories and experiences you shared. I will remember delicious sushi rolls, her gentle spirit, a big fan of the Reds, and a caring relationship with her granddaughter, who could never stop talking about her. I'm glad I got to know her.

Nobu O. Oishi is a woman I knew as Grandma O. My daughter swims for Teresa Fightmaster and Teresa is a very dear friend of mine. I have often admired the patience, strength and sense of fairness Teresa exhibits in her daily life. I have watched Teresa in times of adversity and been in aw of her grace and poise. When I have mentioned it to her she always has the same response..'.it is what my GRANDMA O and MOM taught me and it is what they expect from me...I want to make them proud".
