Not sure what to say?

Noel was one of my mother's friends from childhood and we always enjoyed seeing her when the "gals" got together. She was interesting and interested in everything and her enthusiasm for all aspects of life was contagious. I especially loved hearing about her world travels.

I was unbelievably sad to hear about Noel's passing this morning. It brought back such a flood of wonderful memories. Several of us went to St. Cecilia's Grannar School and remained friends. Her obit was lovely. Marian Sweeney, San Bruno, CA

Sorry to hear of Noel's passing.I remember her laugh that greeted us every morning on the third floor of Cabrillo School and the twinkle that was always present in her eyes. She was great teacher and quite the lady. My thoughts and prayers to Noel and to her family.

I am saddened to hear of Noel's passing. We were colleagues and friends at Cabrillo School for many years. Noel was an excellent teacher with a marvelous sense of humor. I'll always remember the Irish Soda bread she baked for us on St. Patrick's Day and the jello jiggles she made for her classroom parties. Her smile and the joy she brought to others will be missed by many. My sympathy to her family.

Another memory of Noel is her baking us Irish Soda Bread on St. Patrick's Day which she continued to do after her retirement for several years. She was a delight to have as a friend and colleague with a wonderful, dry sense of humor. She will...
