With sincere condolences to Bev in the loss of your dear 'Special Ed.' My brother Carl used to call him 'Ed Crash.' After Carl's horrific 1998 automobile accident, Ed asked Carl to please give him a different nickname, hence, Special Ed. When Carl was in a coma while in Grant Hospital in Columbus, Noel Edward was a frequent visitor. On one occasion, he said to my comatose brother, " Carl,I'm thinking about pouring some cement in the back yard of my house. What do you think about that? " ...

Mr. Kaech was one of a kind...I will never forget the day I met him. His love for helping others, and helping children in Clark County spoke loudly. He always helped people in need of help, no matter what. I will never forget you for that. May you be at peace, and your family is in my prayers. Thanks for the support you gave me the last time I saw you and your wife at Bob Evans...encouraging me to continue my work that I was on a leave from. Thank you...words can not say what that meant...
