It´s been 15 years since you went to Heaven. Your children and now, grandchildren are walking in your footsteps by being athletic. It´s such a joy seeing them enjoying sports. Sure do miss you, my friend.

Wow... there are so many lives passing through on this earth. I recall so many stories, images, events, moments, and friends who were all a part of our swimming community. There is an amazing list of them on this thread. The moments for remembering, to be able to just say "goodbye" and "be seeing you", holding memories, good and bad, relationship(s) we have and the connections from them. 11 years later... I've thought of Noel on many an occasion like Jeb going to college, firefighters,...

I just learned of Noel's passing through old "swim friends" from SCSC via Facebook. I am so sad to hear about Noel. She was older than I but someone I looked up to on the team. I remember the day Jeb was born also and how proud she was to be a Mom.
She will be missed deeply by everyone who knew her and whose lives she touched.

Six months ago we lost Noel.
Needless to say we are heartbroken.
But, your kind messages of love for Noel have helped and meant so much to us.

My belated condolences to the Moran family. I watched Noel swim when I first moved to Santa Clara in the 70's, and was in awe of her. I saw her occasionally over the past few years at Ali and Sara's basketball and volleyball games (my daughter played with them). Although I didn't know Noel, I'm glad that she was able to see her beautiful daughters in action. They (and Jeb) are her legacy, and will definitely do her proud; they are lovely women, inside and out.
