Not sure what to say?

To the family of Coach Furniss. He was the kind of man I wanted to become. I had the privilege of playing basketball for him at Snake River High, and found Coach Furniss to be such an honorable man. He always made me feel important, and believed in me. He had a great sense of humor and was always so positive about life. I have many, many fond memories of our time together. I am so thankful for his influence on me. I am so sorry for your loss, and pray that you will find peace and...

Don and I are stunned. Nolan has been a true and faithful friend to us for many years. He was Don's BYU roommate for 2 years and they have so many fun stories of their times together. We cherish the visits we had in Blackfoot and when Nolan came to see us here in Utah. What a great man! He was true to the faith and was in love with his wife and his children. We are so sorry to miss the services today. Don had an important Dr. appointment and I had to work. Please forgive us and know...

Truly one of my favorite Peeps. Lots of fun to be around. He will be missed dearly..prayers to the Family.. love you Luke!

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. We will surely miss our good friend Nolan, we will miss him stopping by just to say hi, stopping by to help us out, stopping by just to chat for a little while, we will truly miss his big handshake at church and his big smile, I'm sure on the other side, he will be getting to know everyone and he will be helping everyone, cuz that is what Nolan was all about, love to Nolan's...

I was truly saddened to hear of Nolan’s passing. He was a dear friend. He and I loved to “drag main” in Blackfoot. We played high school football together and he was our shortstop on the ward’s young men softball team that played in the all church tournament in Salt Lake in 66. He really was a loyal friend and stayed close to my parents after I moved. My wife also knew him well and we are blessed to have been touched by him. Whenever we would see him, we could pick right up as if it had been...

Sad to hear of Nolan passing. He was a true friend and I will always cherish his friendship and loving kindness. May the family find comfort and always be Blessed. Rest In Peace my friend. Sending love.

Coach Furniss,
My deepest sympathies go out to your family.. I will miss you! I have always remembered how you believed in me and our team, class of 1985 and 1986. I remember after we lost our first game of the district tournament in a double elimination tournament and we were pretty down. In your optimistic way, you found a way for us to believe in ourselves again. We trusted each out and our coaches l, you and Coach Shelley. We every game after that and win the state...
