Noland "Rusty" Murray, Jr., aged 57, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024, in Beaumont, Texas. Born on July 11, 1967, Noland was a resident of Beaumont at the time of his passing. 

Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Murray will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel, located at 1395 Gladys Street in Beaumont, Texas 77701. A Public Viewing for Mr. Murray will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024 from 12:00 Noon until 5:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel and Visitation on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Chapel. Burial Service to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Beaumont, Texas. For your safety social distancing and facial masks are recommended.

Rusty's Journey

Noland “Rusty” Murray, Jr., was born in Beaumont, Texas, to Noland Murray, Sr., and Faye Thibedeaux on July 11, 1967.
Rusty was a student at Beaumont Charlton-Pollard High School. His career at Howell’s Furniture spanned more than three decades, during which he worked as a delivery driver and later as a warehouse manager. Additionally, he held positions at Hadley’s Furniture warehouse as a  manager, Wingfoot Tire, Motiva, and Carnival Cruise Lines.
Rusty’s cherished memories and love will always live on in the hearts of his family. He is survived by his mother, Faye Thibedeaux; his two sons, Noland Murray, III (Suzette) of Oklahoma and Mason Cole Murray of Kansas; as well as his seven siblings: Ara Morris of Houston, Texas, Patricia Phillips of Beaumont, Texas, Ricely Murry of Port Arthur, Texas, Willie Murray of Houston, Texas, Myrtle Mitchell of Beaumont, Texas, Lillie Spiller (Doug) of Beaumont, Texas, and Carrington Murray (Ty) of Beaumont, Texas. He is also survived by his two grandsons, Matthew Brown and Jalen Murray; and uncle, Oscar Murry; along with numerous nieces, nephews, additional family members, and friends.
