A Facebook memory popped up today - it was a funny, out-of-context Nora quote from 2010. As I often do, I found myself smiling and laughing while thinking back on those days and our silly conversations in the Gamma Phi Beta house, the topics of which are mostly long forgotten. But her warm smile and infectious laugh are forever etched in my happy memories. Wishing comfort and happy memories to all her family and friends, today and every day.

SMrs. Barnett was the best teacher my daughter has ever had. Despite all her doctors visits and all she had going on in life Mrs. Barnett always made time for mi child. Mrs. Barnett inspired My daughter to be a better person and try her best. We miss you and pray that you are better now in hands of god . Que dios la bendiga y la cuide endonde sea que este . Nora was my first friend. She lived a block away from me. We use to play as kids. She would walk over to my house or I would walk over to hers. Even though we haven’t seen each other very often. I would still think about her. Nora will always be in a special place in my heart. Thank You Nora for your Friendship. I’ll miss you.

I AM so sad and devastated that I will never get to be the awesome mother in-law I always wanted to be..I will never forget the day in Seattle going into Starbucks together and really talking and sharing with each other and Nora tried to show me how to work an Apple I Pad ..She was so patient and kind..And you could just see the love she had for my son Adam,And their Beautiful little baby girl and My Granddaughter,people often ask me how can someone love someone else without spending lots of...

I fell in love with Nora on our first date. She was so strong and independent, she showed her strength when fighting through months of cancer to get our son to 25 weeks so he could be delivered. She is and will always be my best friend and partner, I only wish for our children could have known her as I did. I asked her to wait for me and I can’t wait to be with her again.

Nora was the best part of my life and I’m a better person because of her influence. She was the most beautiful woman, wife, mother, and best friend. She is missed more than she will ever know.

Nora is the kindest, gentlest soul, a dear friend and a triumphant, selfless mother. I am so grateful that God allowed me the pleasure of knowing her while she was here on earth. A true example of what it means to love fearlessly! My heart goes out to her beloved family. I will continue to pray. I am so so sorry for your loss. I know I am not alone when I say I can't wait to see her when it is my turn to meet Jesus face to face. Love you all
