Dear Norb, I played every season I could under your guidance. You were a wonderful coach and an even better human being. I saw how much you loved the games. I believe you were more nervous than me at the kickoff, tip off or first pitch when it was a big game. I have such glowing memories of your smiling face, hearty laugh and indomitable spirit. You believed in us before we learned to believe in ourselves. We grew because of it. You taught us to enjoy ourselves in practice and in the games. We...

I had the privilege of knowing Norbert while working at the University and he was one of my all time favorites, his compassion, character and honesty always stood out! I gave him the opportunity to teach me the game of golf, sorry Norb I still have that slice that you worked so hard to fix! Rest in peace you will be missed!

The world has lost a great man. I remember when in grade school playing against QP and they always beat us. Norb was the coach then and he was always gracious to us. As the years past I would see Norb now and then and he always had a handshake and conversation. The world has lost a Giant. Coach N RIP. I guess the Lord need and BB coach in Heaven. Coach Lou

Lynn, My sister Beth shared this news with all the Brady siblings today, and to a person, we each have such good memories of your dad. Please know we have spoken so fondly of him today and send our thoughts and prayers to all of you. No doubt, he is so proud of his family this very day. With warmest wishes, Bridget Brady

Thank you Norm for your lifetime of service to the youth and to all you touched. Truly an exemplar of the community so many of us grew up in. Was reminded today he was a server at my Mom's funeral. God's Blessings to the Family Haas and God Speed Norm. Happy you are with Jean and the Lord you served faithfully. Your Memory is a Blessing.

Madison and our community lost a true champion of Catholic education in Norb's passing. A gentleman and a crusader for young men and women. My sympathy to all the Haas family on your loss. Another angel arrives in heaven! God bless. Tom Shipley

What a reunion there was in Heaven! It brings us a smile to think of your parents together and face-to-face with our Lord and Savior. At the same time, you have our deepest sympathy and prayers for your loss.
