Not sure what to say?

Our thoughts and prayers in the loss of Rita. A real treasure!

When I first moved from MN to Oak Island, for a long time Rita was my only friend who would actually hang out with me. We had so much fun together! From a private sword swallowing presentation to countless movies and dining out, from riding around in her convertible to Mexican train domino games, from her grandson’s winning ball games to alligator safaris in her golf cart, we had the most fun. She loved her convertible. I was always welcome at her home. I will always treasure her friendship....

Rita was a classmate and friend. So sorry for your loss. Prayers go out to your family

Dr. Bocook,
We are sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. She was lucky to have you nearby giving her lots of love and excellent care. Treasure your memories. With deepest sympathy, Rob and Leslie Spearman

There was only one Kentucky girl named Rita! She loved her family so very much and if you didn’t know she had 3 famous grandchildren. These past twelve years of our friendship at Oak Island has made great memoriesyou are missed Miss Homecoming Queen! Keep those in heaven straight!
