Angelus Funeral Home - San Antonio Obituary


Mrs. Norma Moncivais Arriola, age 63 was called home to our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 30, 2018.


 


Norma was raised in the Rio Grande Valley and moved to San Antonio at the age of 8. She was a beloved mother of 4 children and 9 grandchildren.


 


Norma was a woman of faith and an active member at St. Margaret Mary’s Church. She was a member of Women’s ACTS, La Mujer Samaritana and also served as a Eucharistic Minister. Norma enjoyed playing softball and was a cancer survivor.


 


Norma was preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and husband of 46 years, Antonio Arriola. She will also be joining her father, Sixto Moncivais and sister, JoAnne Aguirre in paradise.


 


Norma leaves behind four children: Roxanne Arriola Rivas and husband Arnold, Tennisha Arriola, Jacob Arriola and Toni Herrera; Sister: Linda Mack and husband Ted; brother: Roger Moncivais; grandchildren: Matthew, Sara, Brandon, Daniel, Aracelli, Jesilynne, Demitrius, Alexandria and Antonio.


 


FUNERAL SERVICES


 


Visitation will begin on Monday, February 5, at 5:00 P.M. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at The Angelus Chapel.


 


Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, February 6, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Services will conclude at the church.

I was shocked to hear of Norma's passing. She was so active in caring for her brother Roger at the San Antonio State Supported Living Center. I will miss her. My condolences to the family.

To My sisters in christ Roxanne and Toni, I'm sorry i was unable to make the services. My prayers will continue for the entire family. Love you all and may your momma rest in peace.
