Norma Jean Herndon

With deep and loving sympathy

I called Norma Herndon my "Hochschild's mother". When I was 17, she was my first boss, and she took me under her wing. By the example she set, she taught me a strong work ethic, as well as a love of retailing that made me choose it as a career. In addition to being my mentor at work, she became someone I cherished as a friend for life. And through her, I made another friend, her daughter Theresa, who became a sister to me. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
