Not sure what to say?

My heart hurts to bid farewell to a great and dedicated fellow officer I had the honor and pleasure of working with while stationed at Fort Lawton, WA. Norma's personality and zeal are unsurpassed. She will never be forgotten.

It would take a book for me to write the wonderful things about Norma. She was the dearest of friends. I knew Norma for close to thirty years as a soldier and as a civilian. She excelled at both. If a person is fortunate enough to have had one friend as outstanding as Norma then they are truly blessed.

I knew Lieut. Colonel Norma Lloyd for 25 years. I had the privilege of meeting her when she served as an Army Reserve Nurse with the 50th General Hospital at Fort Lawton, WA. She was highly professional and a sincere caregiver, totally dedicated to taking care of soldiers.
In her private life, Norma enjoyed a happy and gracious social life. She was a lovable friend to all and delighted herself in hosting and entertaining friends at dinner parties in her home. She was an active member of...

Norma was a virbrant conscientious employee during her Fort Lawton duty. It was always pleasant to have a hello from her and a friendly smile. She was a beautiful person in kindnesses and concern to everyone. and a wonderful nurse as well.

I have had the honor and pleasure of meeting and getting to know this formidable and generous lady since the time I met her at Fort Lawton back in the mid 80's.

She is one of a kind that can never be replaced. Our loss is Heaven's gain; Norma will be missed very much by us whose lives were touched by her.

My prayers and heart felt condolences go out to her fiance and family.

Norma always took time to celebrate with friends , grieve with others and loved those that needed love. Thanks for the wonderful, wonderful memory.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

The memorial service for Norma at Madigan a few weeks ago was very honorale to her memory. At Fort Lawton where I was a civilian employee, Norma stood-out by always taking a moment to acknowledge one's presence, in a pleasant caringway. She was a beautiful person in personality and I can understand why she chose the nursing profession, to help others. Many regrets are her early loss of life.

She lived, loved and laughed and helped a lot of people during her lifetime and set a wonderful example for those she worked with and served with and she will remembered as one who made a difference in so many positive ways. We will all miss her. May Gods loving presence be with all who mourn. Remember the Good Times. God Bless.
