God must have been in need of a new head gardener, because Aunt Norma was one of the best! She could make anything grow! I know the first thing she did when she passed thru the Pearly Gates...headed straight for the gardens to see what plants and flowers needed her attention! Rest In Peace, Aunt Norma!

Norma, you gave me things in life I would never have had without you and Jim. Family vacations to places I would have never been able to go to as a child. Bought me the summer clothes to take with, paid for everything. You taught me the love for gardening, and I will always be so thankful for that, I now love working in my yard, and watching my flowers bloom. You took me in to live with you as a young teenager at a time I was troubled. I will never forget your Chili,Pasta,or your mashed potatos, eating at your house as a child was the best meals I have ever had. You just have always been in my life for as long as I can remember. You were a second mother to me. I love you and will miss you very much. Thank you for everything you and Jim have done for me. Most of all thank you for Linda, my very beloved long time friend. My thoughts Linda are with you and the family. I love you all.

Norma has been my next door neighbor for 24 years. She was just like my grandma. I used to love baking goodies for her. I also loved going next door to just sit and chat. I would go over there for something simple . . . maybe just to drop off some cookies or brownies, and I would end up talking to Norma for HOURS! Every visit next door was always a treat for me. I will miss having her next door.
Our families were always deeply connected. In fact, I consider Norma's granddaughter to be my sister. Norma WAS my grandma -- and she was close friends with my own grandmother, Doris, who was her next door neighbor. Losing Norma is hard for me because I am not only losing a grandmother, a great friend, and a great neighbor, but I'm also losing the living memory of my late grandmother Doris.
Norma, thank you for giving me fond memories. I will always remember you.
