Norma Jean McKay

So sorry to see the passing of Norma today. We worked together for a number of years in EDD's Evaluation Division. We even shared a work cubicle for some of that time. Jeffrey--your mom regularly talked about you during those days. Definitely so proud of you. Norma was about the nicest lady you could meet. Certainly very well liked, and a great employee at EDD. The world definitely lost a good one with her passing.

My condolences to Norma's family and friends. I have fond memories of Norma as my supervisor at EDD in the mid-70s. She was so friendly and patient with those of us in her unit (we were all young).

Norma was always so devoted to helping others. She was kind, generous and had a big heart. She always supported the Crafters and decorated our church and cared for our plants and helped out in the office and was in many of our committees. I will miss her dearly.

May you love & remember your Norma for the rest of your lives. I'm an SFSU grad who wishes to have met her (my classes were in the HLL bldg (humanities, lang.&liberal arts).
