Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Norma’s passing. I am saddened by the news. For more than 20 years she lived with my father. Although their relationship was not always harmonious, there was real respect and affection between them. My father often spoke admiringly of Norma’s work ethic. And we were all impressed by her fantastic cooking and her artistic skill. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren, and she gave them much to be proud of her. A life well lived. Rest in peace Norma.

I have just recently learned of your beautiful Mother's passing. I had recently canceled my paper and had not started it online yet.
My deepest condolences to all of you.

My deepest condolences. I just found this today. I had the pleasure of getting to know Norma while she was in the hospital. We had some incredible conversations about living life, cancer, and dying. I gave her a couple of seashells. Your Mom was an amazing woman.

Oh this breaks my heart to read of her passing. Such a fine, elegant woman I was blessed to have as a friend. We shared many things in common and she was a great inspiration to me. I will miss her and her friendship.

Norma, you will truly be missed. My prayers go out to your family.

Norma was an amazing, classy lady and such an inspiration to me. She was intelligent, creative, adventurous, compassionate, resilient, and gracious. Over the thirty-plus years of our friendship we have shared and discussed similar political views; an interest in natural, holistic healing; various recipes; a love and stories of our respective pet cats; and, of course, chocolate! I feel so honored for having known Norma and for her to have considered me as her friend. I will truly, truly...

A true inspiration...always a joy to talk with and learn from.
