Dear Dan and all - I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. What a dynamic and vibrant woman was, right up to the end. And how glad we are that Mark and i were able to visit with you all in January - a well-remembered treat. We will absolutely never forget Ann playing the organ for our wedding - we have a photo of her that captures her perfectly! You are all in our hearts as you work through this monumental loss. Take care of one another and know that you are loved. Mark and Joan Parris

"If music be the food of love, play on." Ann brought to life Shakespeare's wisdom.

I have many many fond memories of my Aunt Ann she would routinely vist her mother. My grandmother in Louisville ky, and she selflessly took care of my grandmother for years in Virginia, After my grandmothers stroke , she loved her family so much ! She made the world a better place!

I remember great times up at Columbia Baptist and at Derbyshire. I pray Gods blessings on your whole family as you grieve Ann´s passing. What a great lady! Our thoughts are especially with you, Dan! Vivian and Mike Clingenpeel

My life and those of our 4 children, their spouses, our grandchildren and great grandchildren were so blessed by this love of my life that words fail me. Dan Polk

Dear Pam and Family, I send my deepest sympathy to you during this most difficult time. I will always remember meeting your parents when they opened their beautiful home to the New Virginians. I immediately felt welcome and I felt the beautiful spirit and nature of your mom. She made me feel like a longtime friend and I hold the memory in my heart. Love to you all.

Dan I am thinking of you and your family! Ann will be missed by many! Prayers are being sent your way! May your memories be a reminder of the love you had for each other!
