Not sure what to say?

During these difficult days we are in right now, I suppose those who have gone before us are the blessed ones for not having to endure the uncertainty of what may come. Norma was a very special friend. Perhaps the only one of her kind! She is still missed.

Norma and I first met in 2nd grade. We were GREAT friends all through middle school and into our early high school years. We lost track of one another and I was trying to reconnect when I came across this. It makes me so sad! She was an integral part of my growing up years. She and her family were amazingly kind to a young girl who was much the square peg trying to fit into the round hole. So wish I had not lost rack of her. A lovely human being. The world is a little more dim because she is...

I met Norma when I was a senior at New Trier West. We were great friends. But the. Our lives when their separate ways.
Caught up on FB a year ago. Glad we did.
Put in a good word for us all Now ma. Say hello to your folks.

Norma and I worked together near the beginning of our careers at Huntington in the 1980s. She was smart, kind, funny, and always had a mischevious twinkle in her eye. She was extraordinarily helpful to a young programmer trying to solve problems and make changes for her area of responsibility. More than once, she and I looked at a problem, decided what needed to be done, and then just did it.

She will be missed by many whose lives she has touched. My deepest condolences.

I confess that I did not know Norma Reed very well. She simply was my manager for a few months. But in that brief time I saw that she was a kind person who was always nice to everyone on her team. She will be missed.
