Norma Semeyn

I met Norma and spent some time with her while she was at Beacon Hill. She was such a sweet woman and her light shined bright, even in her final months. She smiled often and was such a pleasure to interact with. My mom is also a resident and she and Norma were a comfort to each other.

Norma and Bob were dear friends of my in-laws, Spider and Maxine Webb. I clearly remember many Christmas Day open houses at the Semeyn´s. And, in my heart I will always remember their hospitality and kindness, especially when I was just a young, awkward girl dating my future husband. I was nervous and scared and felt out of place with his family. But not with Norma and Bob, not at their home. They were two of the most kind and welcoming people I was fortunate enough to know in my life...

Oh my, I can hear all the laughter in Heaven now. Norma, Bob, Rog and Petey making everyone laugh. Your parents were and always will be the greatest of the great. You are Blessed to have had such a wonderful upbringing. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. God Bless you and keep his loving arms around you. Judy Van Dam Warncke.

Although I never met her, it´s easy to see that Norma was a wonderful, loved and adventurous beautiful woman. My thoughts are with you all during this very difficult time.

As a member of the Bissell Guild, I worked many shifts with Norma in the Garden View Cafe at Blodgett Hospital. I enjoyed hearing her many stories and sharing laughs. I treasure my memories of her.
