Not sure what to say?

I just came across this obituary and started crying. She was my judge that swore me in as a citizen. I will never forget the warm hug she gave me after my speach and told me how proud of me she was. I was 18.

Finley, Neil and Aaron,

Please accept our deepest condolences. Our parents Drs Jose and Josy Rabinowitz were dear friends of your parents. It is with great sadness that we learned of your mother's passing. She was a remarkable woman, role model and friend to our parents. We hope that your memories provide some comfort to you.

Malva Rabinowitz, Lois Rabinowitz Lamond and Marty Rabinowitz

My condolences to the entire Shapiro family on the passing of Judge Shapiro. May her blessing be a memory.

My condolences to Judge Shapiro's family. My father, Hon. Edward B. Rosenberg (obm) always held her in high esteem.

I am so sad to read that Judge Norma Shapiro has died. She was an inspiration to so many. I will always treasure the beautiful and meaningful wedding ceremony that she officiated at my daughter Judith's z'l wedding. May her dear family be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

Cantor Deborah Arden Stern

I remember Norma not as a judge, but as a very nice neighbor who was friends with my mother. Nice lady.

Thank you Judge Shapiro for all your hard work and dedication to fairness throughout your career. You wee an inspiration to many of us, and we will miss you.

I am so sorry for your loss of your mother. May you find comfort in each other, your extended family, and all your friends as well as among the mourners of Zion.
