Still think of Miss Norma and her positive nature often when I look next door. It is nice to read these memories and be reminded of her. <3

Nice to continue to remember my Aunt Norma. Very influential in my life. She lived with us off and on over the years. Think of her often. I count it as a blessing to have had her in my life. Pray that Pam is doing well in her life.

Aunt Norma and Pam were always a pleasure to visit and spend time with. They were a wonderful couple. Aunt Norma was the last of the Loving siblings (George and Blanche). Among her talents, she was inducted into the VA Softball Fast Pitch Hall of Fame, there is a plaque in Glen Allen. RIP Aunt Norma

Norma was a significant influence in my life. She lived in our hose in Richmond along with Big Mama (her mother and my grandmother). Margearet Sellers and my parents Leether and George Southard. As a high schooler she gave me great advice on college selection (VMI) and encouraged me in sports and in academics. Miss Norma, I will miss your laugh next door. I am so honored to have been friends with such a pioneer in the Navy for women--you are such a strong woman to have faced those challenges for all the women who came behind you! You and Pam truly are "best neighbors" for sure, and I have appreciated your support throughout the years. Pam, I wish you peace, and I am so sorry that Miss Norma's journey on earth with you has ended. I know that she appreciated all you did for her. Please let...

Thinking of you Pam. She was the last of that group in our family. Mom would be sad that Norma's last year's were so difficult. Now she is at peace and reunited with all the family that went before her. Donna Jeanne Carter Henderson (Jean Waters)

When Aunt Norma's brother James (my father) died, she shared with me a very special message describing our life journey as a train ride. I can't find my copy now, but no matter. I found the message comforting as I mourned my Dad's passing. And I find again that it helps me at least a little in reflecting on my aunt's journey as well as my own. Norma's journey for this life is done but I believe she's happy and restored in mind and spirit. That's what I wish for her. I hope she's enjoyed...
