Norma was truly a gift to those who had the pleasure of interacting with her. I am grateful that our professional lives crossed many years ago. She is missed!

Norma was a very special lady. I worked for her in the 80's when she was the director of special education in District 45. Her kindness, compassion, sensitivity, and patience were always evident in her day to day dealings with the staff and community. My condolences to the family on the loss of such a wonderful lady. I will always be grateful for the mentoring she provided to me as a educator fresh out of graduate school. She will be missed!

Norma was the essence of the devoted Mother, friend and neighbor. The Chapman's have been an integral part of our family for decades. We are all better for having shared her spirit and friendship. We see her kindness in the eyes of her children.
