Dear Danny, Dana,Cherie,Angela,
It is impossible to put into words the sadness I felt upon hearing about Janie's death. She was such a good friend for so many years and in our hearts we were always connected. No one is ours to keep, they are just on loan to us for awhile, but I am certain Janie will surely be a keeper of all of your hearts and minds as you try to live life without her. God bless you all. To Ms. Janie, You will always have a very special place in my heart. You have raised beautiful, responsible, loveable children. You were a light to this world! Now you shine even brighter with the Lord! I will always remember your strength, strong faith and most of all wonderful motherly qualities. You were an inspiration to me! You still are! If you ladies ever need backup you know who to call! I love you all very deeply. Lifelong friend/4th daughter, Andrea Philippe

To the entire Tanner family, I was very sorry to hear about Mrs. Janie. I will always remember her as my blue bird sponsor and my mom's best friend. Just remember she is always looking down on all of you. She's in a peaceful place now.

Miss Janie was like a second mom to me. I can't believe she has left this world so early! I was so lucky to always feel like part of her family and to experience her warmth. I will dearly miss her loving smile.
